Here’s the thing about mavericks: they almost never tell you they’re one. They’re too busy building their success their own way, making the hard calls, and bending the rules that needed bending to stop and brag about it. So I did the bragging for them. Maverick is my portrait campaign for the powerhouses, the ones who didn’t get here by playing it safe and have the results to prove it. Here is your chance to meet some truly impressive people. I welcomed them into my studio, photographed them, and then handed them the mic. Everything on this page is them, in their own words, being exactly who they are. No polishing, no pretending, no tidy little version someone else approved. Just genuine mavericks, out loud. Go meet them. And if you read these and think that’s me too, well, then let’s talk.
